When you ask us to quote or apply for coverage, we share relevant information (including health and demographic information) with the applicable insurance carriers for the purpose of generating quotes, underwriting your application, and servicing your policy.

We collect health information from you for the limited purpose of underwriting an insurance application or providing accurate quote and recommendation services. We are an independent insurance broker; we are not a "covered entity" or "business associate" under HIPAA. However, we treat health information as sensitive and apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with industry standards.

We share health information only with insurance carriers required to underwrite your application, with service providers under written agreement, and as required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services to you, to comply with applicable laws (state insurance recordkeeping rules generally require records to be retained for at least 5 to 7 years after policy termination), to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or de-identify it.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, including secure transmission (HTTPS / TLS), access controls on our CRM and email systems, and vendor agreements requiring similar safeguards. No system is perfectly secure; you transmit information to us at your own risk.

Our services are intended for individuals 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 except as part of an application made by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a minor dependent.
